What will be expected of me as a volunteer (typical Sunday morning at a truck stop):

Arrive two hours prior to starting time, pray over Location Guides, and walk around handing out Location Guides inviting the Drivers to meeting. Where possible, one hour prior, make announcements on P/A system.

Start meeting on time by handing out Bibles that are stuffed with attendance report concealed at back page; music is good, but not required.

Let them know the Bibles are free in case they want to make notes in them.

CHAPLAINS/MISSIONARY DRIVERS: Because of the Drivers’ schedules, keep meeting to an hour, including giving invitation at end. Then offer to talk to and pray with any Driver who wants to talk privately.

At end, announcements include: “Please fill out the attendance form as a record of your attendance, and place in donation box on your way out.”

Pick up and store all materials. Be sure the room (area) is clean when you are finished.
